Harold A. Molkenthin
Harold Alfred Molkenthin, 80, of Mt. Pleasant, died Monday, Jan. 28, at Henry County Health Center.
His body has been cremated. A memorial service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, Feb. 1, at Faith Christian Outreach Church.

He was born April 13, 1927, in Sigourney, the son of Robert and Ida Schmidt Molkenthin. On July 6, 1958, he married Earlene Elliott in Linby.
A graduate of Sigourney High School and U.S. Army veteran, he farmed in What Cheer until his retirement. He was a member of the Mt. Pleasant Faith Christian Outreach Church, and enjoyed traveling, camping, and carpentry.
He is survived by his wife; two sons, Kevin Molkenthin and his wife Vickie of Simpsonville, S.C. and Keith Molkenthin and his wife Rebecca of Buford, Ga.; two daughters, Karla Utterback and her husband Rick of Lawrenceville, Ga. and Kathy Coon and her husband Steve of Columbus Junction; eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
His parents, sister Freda Molkenthin and brother Herbert Molkenthin preceded him in death.
