Harold Boese

Harold Boese, 82, of Wayland, died Thursday, Dec. 18, at University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City.

His body has been cremated. Visitation will be held from 3 to 6 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 21, at Bethel Mennonite Church in Wayland. A memorial service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday, Dec. 22, at the church, with the Rev. Phil Slaubough officiating. Burial will be at the Bethel Mennonite Cemetery at a later date.

Memorials have been established for Parkview Home in Wayland and the Bethel Mennonite Church. Beatty Funeral Home is assisting with arrangements.

He was born May 12, 1926, near Wayland, the son of Harris and Eva Reschly Boese. On Jan. 9, 1949, he married Dorothy Roth.
