Harold Boese

WAYLAND - Harold Boese, 82, of Wayland, died Thursday, Dec. 18, 2008, in the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City.

      Funeral services were at 10:30 a.m. today in the Bethel Mennonite Church with the Rev. Phil Slabaugh officiating. The body has been cremated and burial will be at a later date in the Bethel Mennonite Cemetery. The Beatty Funeral Home is assisting with the arrangements. Memorials may be made to Parkview Home in Wayland or the bethel Mennonite Church.

      Mr. Boese was born May 12, 1926 near Wayland, the son of Harris and Eva (Reschly) Boese. He married Dorothy Roth on Jan. 9, 1949 in the Sugar Creek Mennonite Church.
