Harold Jackson May 23, 1922 - August 8, 2003

      Harold Jackson, 81, of Hamilton, Ill., died at 3:11 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 8, 2003, at the Keokuk Area Hospital in Keokuk.

      The funeral service was today at 1:30 p.m. at the Lamporte Funeral Home in Hamilton, with the Revs. Craig Burton and Mike McMillen officiating. Burial will be in the Sutter Salem Bible Church Cemetery in Sutter, Ill., with a graveside flag presentation. A memorial has been established for the Global Outreach Missions.

      Survivors include his wife; two sons, Dick Jackson of Louisville, Ky., and Jim Jackson of Portage, Mich.; two daughters, Virginia Berges of Pensacola, Fla., and Carol Dornbos of Grand Rapids, Mich.; four brothers, James Jackson of New London, D.E. "Stoney" Jackson and Ora W. Jackson, both of Burlington, and Marion Jackson of Hamilton; two sisters, Edna Mae Newman of Hamilton, and Maxine Huberty of Lomax, Ill.; and 11 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

      He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers and a sister.
