Harold L. Schrier

      COLUMBUS JUNCTION-Harold L. Schrier, 73, of Columbus Junction, died Thursday, May 3, 2007, at the Washington County Hospital in Washington.

      Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. Monday, May 7, at the Stacy-Lewis Home for Funeral and Cremation Services in Columbus Junction, with the Rev. Ron Whitlatch and the Rev. Catherine Whitlatch officiating. Burial will be in the Columbus City Cemetery at a later date. Visitation will be from 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. A general memorial fund has been established.

      Mr. Schrier was born March 24, 1934, in Bellwood, Neb., to Jesse A. and Clara (Brase) Schrier. He married Margareta "Greta" Gmeiner on May 13, 1957, in Germany.
