Harold Samuel Burgus
Harold Samuel Burgus, 81, of Burlington, died at 2:45 a.m. on Oct. 24, 2001, at his home.
The funeral will be at 2 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 27 at the First Congregational Church in Burlington with the Rev. Cynthia Bacon officiating. Burial will be in Kossuth Cemetery in Mediapolis. Military rites will be given by VFW Posts 10102, 9162, American Legion Post 52 and the Marine Corps League. Visitation will begin after noon on Friday, Oct. 26 at Lunning Chapel in Burlington, with family present from 7 to 8:30 p.m. A memorial has been established for First Congregational Church.
