Harold W. Polson

Harold W. Polson, 68, of Mt. Pleasant, died Monday, March 24, at Henry County Health Center.

Visitation will be held from 9 to 10 a.m. Thursday, March 27, at Murphy Funeral Home in Mt. Pleasant, with family present. A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at Pleasant Home Cemetery in Worthington, Mo.

He was born Aug. 17, 1939 in Stahl, Mo., the son of Hugh and Edith Brockhart Polson.

He lived in Missouri and the Batavia area before moving to Mt. Pleasant. He worked at Cardinal Community Schools and at the First Baptist Church of Mt. Pleasant as a custodian.

He is survived by his sister, Karen Fisher of Ottumwa; and two brothers, Dale Polson and Henry Polson, both of Knoxville.

His parents, sisters Jane Deuser, Dorothy Swanson and Phyllis Skaggs, and brother Herbert Polson preceded him in death.
