Harriet V. Fry

      KALONA - Harriet V. Fry, 85, of Kalona, died Saturday, Dec. 20, 2008, in the Pleasantview Home in Kalona following a lengthy illness.

      Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 27, in the Yoder-Powell Funeral Home in Kalona. Burial will be in the Sharon Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2 to 8 p.m. Friday in the funeral home, where the family will be present from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Memorials may be made to the Iowa City Hospice or the Kalona First Responders.

      Mrs. Fry was born Oct. 2, 1923 in Eagle Grove, the daughter of Charles and Ada Hillis. She married George E. Fry on Aug. 24, 1957 in Kalona.
