Harrison ?Skip? Weber died at his home in Des Moines on Thursday, Oct. 5.
The funeral service was 10 a.m. Monday, Oct. 9, at First Christian Church in Des Moines. Visitation with family present was at Dunn?s Funeral Home in Des Moines from 4 to 7 p.m., Sunday, Oct. 8.
Mr. Weber was the longtime news director for the Iowa Press Association and the Iowa Newspaper Association. Memorials may be made to the Urbandale Booster Club, c/o Urbandale High School, 7111 Aurora Ave., Urbandale, Iowa 50322, or the Iowa Freedom of Information Council, School of Journalism, Drake University, Des Moines, Iowa 50311.
