Harry D. Levy, 81, of Washington
Harry D. Levy, 81, of Washington, died Thursday, Dec. 23, 2004, at Washington County Hospital, following a brief illness.
Celebration of Life services will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, Dec. 27, at Jones-Eden Funeral Home in Washington, with military rites accorded. A private family burial will take place in Elm Grove Cemetery at a later date. Visitation will begin at noon on Sunday, Dec. 26, with the family present from 2 to 6 p.m. A memorial has been established for Hospice of Washington County.
Mr. Levy was born on Jan. 13, 1923, in Kalona, to Morris and Lillie (Etenson) Levy. On June 9, 1949, he married Carolyn Ann Fry in Iowa City.
