Harry E. Boren
KALONA ? Harry E. Boren, 83, of Iowa City, died Saturday, Sept. 4, 2010, in Mercy Hospital in Iowa City.
Funeral services were at 10 a.m. today at the First Church of The Nazarene in Iowa City with the Rev. Michael Lynch officiating. Burial was in the Anderson Cemetery in Swisher. Visitation was Monday at the Yoder-Powell Funeral Home in Kalona. A general memorial fund has been established.
Mr. Boren was born April 29, 1927, in Grundy Center, the son of Emery and Mabel (Hockey) Boren. He married Charlotte ?Jean? Coghlan on Dec. 25, 1949.
