Harvey Jennings August 12, 1915 - October 5, 2003

Harvey H. Jennings, 88, of Atrium Village Care Center in Hills, formerly of Winfield, died on Sunday, Oct. 5, 2003, at the care center.

      The funeral service will be at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 8 at Honts Funeral Home in Winfield. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery in Morning Sun. Visitation will be today from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. at the funeral home with family present from 5 to 7 p.m. Memorials have been established for Atrium Village in Hills and Winfield Congregate Meals.

      Survivors include six sons, Stanley Jennings of Tucson, Ariz., Michael Jennings of Winfield, Phillip "Tim" Jennings of Omaha, Neb., Thomas Jennings of Murry, Neb., Mark Jennings of Newton, and John Jennings of Fairfield; five daughters, C. Susan Steffins of Myhalia, Miss., Pat Wolf of Cedar Rapids, Veronica McBride of Columbus Junction, Regina Wilson of New London, and Mary Snyder of Iowa City; 22 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.

      In addition to his first two wives, he was preceded in death by his parents, a daughter, two grandchildren, a brother and a sister.
