Hazel Ellery Turner Montgomery May 5, 1903 - May 7, 2005

      Hazel Ellery Turner Montgomery, 102, a lifelong resident of Fairfield, died at 5:10 a.m. Saturday, May 7, 2005, at Parkview Care Center in Fairfield, where she had been a resident since 2002.

      A memorial service is tentatively scheduled for July 16 at the First Presbyterian Church. In accordance with her wishes, the body has been willed to the University of Iowa College of Medicine. Memorials have been established to the First Presbyterian Church and Parkview Care Center. Raymond Funeral Home in Fairfield is in charge of arrangements.

      Survivors include a daughter, Ann and her husband Walter Shipman; and five grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.

      In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents.
