Hazel Faye Ridgeway

Hazel Faye Ridgeway, 92, of Keosauqua, died at 8:40 p.m. Saturday, April 23, 2005, at Van Buren County Hospital in Keosauqua.

      The funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday, April 26 at Pedrick Funeral Home in Keosauqua, with the Rev. Larry Wallingford officiating. Burial will be in Pittsburg Cemetery. Visitation will be today from 2 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home with family present from 7 to 8 p.m. A memorial has been established to Pittsburg Cemetery.

Survivors include a daughter, Margaret Boyer of Keosauqua; three sons, Melvin Ridgeway of Troy, Thomas Ridgeway of Fairfield and Glen "Buster" Ridgeway of Arbela, Mo.; 10 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren; and four sisters, Meda Nichols of Mt. Union, Mada Griffin and Helen Weaver, both of Fairfield, and Betty Carter of Eureka Springs, Ark.

      In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents, a son, a sister, a brother and two granddaughters.
