Hazel R. Garrison January 1, 1923 - November 2, 2003

      Hazel Roberta Garrison, 80, of New London, formerly of Burlington, died at 1 a.m. on Sunday, Nov. 2, 2003, at the home of her granddaughter in Leroy, Ill.

      The funeral service will be at 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 5 at Lunning Chapel in Burlington, with the Rev. Dr. Dennis Tevis officiating. Burial will be in Aspen Grove Cemetery in Burlington. Visitation will begin after noon today at the chapel with family present from 6 to 8 p.m. Memorials may be made to the donor's choice.       Survivors include two daughters, Rose Taylor of Lubbock, Texas, and Paula and her husband Phil Hedges of Eatonville, Wash.; a son, Ty and his wife Lori Garrison of New London; 18 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild; a brother, Gerald and his wife Maxine Sammons of Mt. Pleasant; and two sisters, Ester Rouse and Cecil Milks, both of Mt. Pleasant.

      In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents, a daughter, three brothers and two sisters.
