Hazel Sybil Hofer

Hazel Sybil Hofer, 91, of Washington, died Saturday, July 11, 2009, in the United Presbyterian Home in Washington following a decline in health.

    Visitation will be from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, July 14, at the Zion Lutheran Church in Benkelman, Neb.  Graveside services will follow the visitation, at the Benkelman Cemetery with the Rev. Chris Farmer officiating.  Memorials have been established for the Washington Community Y.  The Jones-Eden Funeral Home in Washington is assisting the family with arrangements.

    Mrs. Hofer was born April 22, 1918, in Haigler, Neb., the daughter of William and Christie Anne (Pennelle) Stute.  She married Harry Hofer on Jan. 7, 1939.
