Hazel Y. Craig

      Hazel Y. Craig, 71, of Washington, died Wednesday, Oct. 1, 2008, in the Washington County Hospital following a short illness.

      Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 4, in the Jones-Eden Funeral Home in Washington with the Rev. Jim Cluney officiating. Interment will be in the Hillcrest Cemetery in Brighton. Visitation will begin after noon Friday in the funeral home, where the family will receive friends from 6 to 7:30 p.m.

      Mrs. Craig was born July 5, 1937 in Brighton, the daughter of George and Opal (Hastings) Gier. She married Zane W. Craig on Dec. 23, 1960 in Washington. He died in 1984.
