Helen Black

      Helen Black, 92, of Mount Pleasant, formerly of Fairfield and Libertyville, died Monday, May 12, 2008, at Pleasant Manor Care Center in Mount Pleasant.

      A funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Olson-Powell Memorial Chapel in Mount Pleasant. Burial will be in Trinity Cemetery in Mount Union.

      Family visitation will be from 1-2 p.m. Friday at the memorial chapel.

      Memorials have been established to the Henry County Cancer Fund and First United Methodist Church.

      Mrs. Black was born Nov. 17, 1915, in Mount Union, the daughter of Howard and Clara Routh Snyder. She married Carl R. Black Dec. 12, 1945, in Fairfield. He died in 1984.
