Helen F. Kapsch October 14, 1925 - November 19, 2003

Helen F. Kapsch, 78, of New London, died on Wednesday, Nov. 19, 2003, at Henry County Health Center in Mt. Pleasant.

      The funeral service will be at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 22 at Elliott Chapel, in New London, with the Rev. Rod Cooper officiating. Burial will be in Brooks Cemetery in New London. Visitation will be after 9 a.m. on Saturday at the chapel, with family present one hour prior to the service. A memorial has been established to the Burlington Animal Shelter.

      Survivors include her husband; two daughters, Darlene and her husband Don Lounsbury of New London, and Billie and her husband Charles Myers of Fort Collins, Colo.; two stepdaughters, Patsy Daily of Stronghurst, Ill., Kathy Murray of Cedar Rapids; two stepsons, Steven Kapsch of Spokane, Wash., and Dale Kapsch of Cedar Rapids; and four grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and eight stepgrandchildren.

      She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister and a stepdaughter, Gayla Keller.
