Helen F. Parcell

      Helen F. Parcell, 69, of Richland, died Sunday, Jan. 20, 2008, at University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City following a brief illness.

      A funeral will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Trinity Friends Church in Richland, with the Revs. Tim Hadley, Ron Bryan and Stan Bauer officiating. Burial will be in Richland Friends Cemetery.

      Visitation will begin at 4 p.m. Wednesday at Gould Funeral Home in Richland, where family will be present from 6-8 p.m.

      Memorials have been established to Richland Fire Department and Friends Cemetery Association. Memorials may be left at the funeral home or church or may be mailed to the family at 3095 Dogwood Ave., Brighton 52540.

      Mrs. Parcell was born Nov. 19, 1938, near Richland, the daughter of Seth E. and Maude Brady Hoskins. She married Victor D. Parcell Sept. 26, 1959, in Pleasant Plain. He died Nov. 20, 2007.
