Helen Fern Hayes

      Helen Fern Hayes, 88, of Warrenton, Mo., formerly of Washington, died Monday Nov. 21, 2005, at Warrenton Manor Nursing Home in Warrenton, Mo.

      Celebration of Life services will begin at 10:30 a.m., Saturday, Nov. 26, at Jones-Eden Funeral Home, with the Rev. Robert Wollenberg officiating. Burial will be in Elm Grove Cemetery in Washington. Visitation will begin at noon, Friday, at the funeral home, where the family will receive friends from 6 to 8, Friday evening. A general memorial has been established.

      Mrs. Hayes was born April 22, 1917, in Washington to Lloyd and Luella (Rutledge) Hoyle. She married Donald M. Hayes on Aug. 20, 1935, in Cedar Rapids. He preceded her in death in 1990.
