Helen Genevieve Peiffer

BRIGHTON ? Helen Genevieve Peiffer, 91, formerly of Brighton, died Monday, July 6, 2009, in the United Presbyterian Home in Washington. 

    Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, July 11, at Ss. Joseph and Cabrini Church in East Pleasant Plain with the Rev. Paul J. Appel officiating.  Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery in East Pleasant Plain.  Visitation will begin at 4:30 p.m. Friday at Gould Funeral Home in Brighton where the family will be present at from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m.  Prayers for a Christian Wake will start at 7:30 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.  A memorial fund has been established for the United Presbyterian Home in Washington.

    Mrs. Peiffer was born Nov. 2, 1917, near Talleyrand, the daughter of John W. and Mary Ann (Lahr) Greiner.  She married Ralph Joseph Peiffer on April 28, 1937, in Clear Creek.
