Helen Kerker Poltis died of leukemia Nov. 27, 1999, at her home in Jacksonville, Fla.
She is survived by her daughter, Mary Justine Wills; one son, Pat Poltis; several grandchildren; and one sister, Ruth Douglas, Mt. Pleasant. Her husband preceded her in death.
