Helen L. Brown

      Helen L. Brown, 85, of Washington, died Friday, April 6, 2007, at McCreedy Home in Washington, following declining health.

      Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday, April 10, at First Christian Church in Washington, with the Rev. Rich Boyd and the Rev. Fred Bickhart officiating. Burial will be in Elm Grove Cemetery. Visitation began at noon today at the Beatty Funeral Home in Washington, where the family will be present from 6 to 8 p.m. Memorials may be designated to the First Christian Church or Hospice of Washington County.

      Mrs. Brown was born on Oct. 18, 1921, in Washington, to Howard Lewis and Mabel Aletha (Hotle) Baker. She married Doyle Nelson Brown on Dec. 18, 1940, in Washington.
