Helen Louise Brown

      Helen Louise Brown, 92, formerly of Mount Pleasant, died Thursday, Nov. 27, 2008, at Spurgeon Manor in Dallas Center.

       A funeral will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Olson-Powell Memorial Chapel in Mount Pleasant, with the Rev. Jeff McPheron officiating. Burial will be in Forest Home Cemetery.

      Family visitation will be from 10-11 a.m. Wednesday at the memorial chapel.

      Memorials have been established to Hospice of Central Iowa.

      Mrs. Brown was born July 18, 1916, in Washington County, the daughter of Joseph William and Iva Ann Wallace Martin. She married Leonard Brown Feb. 18, 1939, in Washington, Iowa.
