Helen M. Crile July 15, 1915 - June 9, 2005

Helen M. Crile, 89, of Washington, died Thursday, June 9, 2005, at the Halcyon House in Washington, following an extended illness.

      The funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, June 15 at the United Methodist Church in Washington, with the Revs. Julia Poulsen and Dennis Fox officiating. Burial will be in Elm Grove Cemetery in Washington. Visitation will begin at 9 a.m. Tuesday, June 14 at the Jones-Eden Funeral Home in Washington, with family present from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Memorials have been established to the United Methodist Church, Hospice of Washington County and for Halcyon House Good Samaritan Fund. Survivors include two sons, Marvin and his wife Phyllis Crile and Tonnie and his wife Pat Crile, all of Washington; two daughters, Connie and her husband Kenneth Bauer and Linda and her husband Martin Boston, all of Washington; 12 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren; three sisters, Edna Sanders of Iowa City, Marjorie Crossett of Wellman, and Wanda Stannard of Phoenix, Ore.; and four sisters-in-law.

      In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents; an infant daughter, Nancy Jane Crile; a son, Jimmie Clyde Crile; six brothers and two sisters-in-law.
