Helen M. Johnson
Helen M. Johnson, 73, of Brighton, formerly of Washington, died Monday, April 11, 2005, at Mercy Hospital in Iowa City, following a lengthy illness.
Funeral services will begin at 1 p.m. Thursday, April 14, 2005, at Beatty Funeral Home in Washington, with the Rev. Richard Boyd officiating. Burial will be in West Chester Cemetery. Visitation will begin at noon, Wednesday at the funeral home, with family present from 6 to 8 p.m. A general memorial has been established.
Mrs. Johnson was born Sept. 22, 1931, in Ainsworth, to Marvin Hugo and Irene (Roth) Buck. She married John Johnson on June 29, 1953, at the Baptist church in Washington.
