Helen M. Oltman

    KALONA ? Helen M. Oltman, 105, of Kalona, died Tuesday, April 28, 2009, in Pleasantview Home in Kalona, due to aging.

    Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, May 2, at the Sharon Center United Methodist Church in rural Kalona with the Rev. Doug Cue officiating.  Burial will be at a later date in Newton, Kansas.  Visitation will be from 3 to 6 p.m. Friday at Peterseim Funeral Home in Kalona.  Memorials may be directed to the Heifer Project or Sharon Center United Methodist Church.

    Mrs. Oltman was born Sept. 21, 1903, in Leadville, Colo., the daughter of John B. and Anna (Hulburd) McCuish.  She married Theodore V. Oltman on June 25, 1927, in Chicago, Ill.
