Helen M. Tinnes

    KEOTA ? Helen M. Tinnes, 90, of Keota, died Wednesday, March 11, 2009, in Maplewood Manor in Keota, following a brief illness.

    Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday, March 16, at Holy Trinity Parish-St. Mary Catholic Church in Keota with the Rev. Charles Fladung officiating.  Burial will be in Holy Trinity Cemeteries-St. Mary Cemetery in Keota.  Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Powell Funeral Home in Keota, where a wake service will be held at 7 p.m.  A memorial fund has been established for Holy Trinity Parish or Washington County Hospice.

    Mrs. Tinnes was born July 19, 1918, near Keota, the daughter of Edward J. and Berga E. (Flander) Peiffer.  She married Milo W. Tinnes on Oct. 17, 1939, at St. Mary Catholic Church in Keota.
