Helen M. Willis

Helen M. Willis, 75, of Ottumwa, died at 6:45 a.m., March 17, 2005, at her home.

The funeral service will be at 10 a.m. today at Reece Funeral Home in Ottumwa, with the Rev. Doug Grogan officiating. Burial will be in Burge Cemetery near New London. Memorials have been established to Foster Grandparents Program, The Salvation Army, Northgate Alliance Church or to the donor's choice.

Survivors include a son, Joseph H. and his wife Deborah Willis of Rome, Ga., a daughter, Lucinda K. Willis of Ottumwa; a brother, Lawrence Monroe Lingenfelter of Lockridge; and three sisters, Hildreth Nebergall of St. David, Ill., Betty Helterbran of Fairfield, and Henretta June Jennings of Wapello.

      In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by a sister, Ferna Garner.
