Helen McEldoon
BRIGHTON-Helen McEldoon, 70, of Brighton, died Friday, Sept. 12, 2003, at University Hospitals in Iowa City, following a brief illness.
Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Monday, Sept. 15, at Brighton United Church, with the Rev. Kitch Shatzer officiating. Burial will be in Hillcrest Cemetery in Brighton. Family visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. on Sunday at Gould Funeral Home in Brighton. A general memorial has been established.
Mrs. McEldoon was born on Sept. 20, 1932, in Clear Lake, to James A. and Mina (Harter) Buck. She married James P. McEldoon II in Clear Lake on April 14, 1957.
