Henrietta F. Pool

      Henrietta F. Pool, 92, of Douds, died at 6:55 a.m. Monday, Jan. 19, 2009, at Hospice of Davis and Wapello Counties Hospice House in Ottumwa.

      A funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Pedrick Funeral Home in Douds, with the Rev. Phil Campbell officiating. Burial will be in Zion Lutheran Cemetery east of Douds.

      Open visitation will begin at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, where the family will be present from 4-6 p.m.

      Memorials to Douds First Responders or Zion Lutheran Cemetery Association may be left at the funeral home or may be mailed to the family at PO Box 174, Douds 52551.

      Mrs. Pool was born Feb. 10, 1916, west of Keosauqua, the daughter of Frank and Rissie Lou Else Brill. She married Joseph E. Pool Feb. 20, 1939, in Keosauqua. He died Oct. 19, 1991.
