Henry Trevor Roland

      FAIRFIELD - Henry Trevor Roland, 90, of Fairfield, formerly of Washington, died Thursday, Feb. 19, 2009, at his home.

      Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Friday, Feb. 27, at the First Baptist Church in Fairfield with the Rev. James Wotherspoon officiating. Cremation will follow the service. Inurnment with military rites will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 28, at Elm Grove Cemetery in Washington. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Behner Funeral Home in Fairfield. Memorials may be directed to Hospice of Central Iowa.

      Mr. Roland was born Jan. 18, 1919, in rural Fairfield, the son of Trevor Sutton and Violet Chloe (Wireman) Roland. He married Frances Augusta Bower on Jan. 1, 1946, at his grandmother Mary Roland's home in rural Fairfield.
