Herbert Lewis (Herb) Townsend
Herbert Lewis (Herb) Townsend, age 84, of Iowa City formerly of Wilton, IA died peacefully at Oaknoll Retirement Community in Iowa City on Friday, September 5, 2014. His funeral will be held on Tuesday, September 9 at 10:00 AM at the First Presbyterian Church, 213 5th Street in Wilton, Iowa. A lunch will be served at the church following the service. Visitation is at the Bentley Funeral Home in Wilton from 4-7:00 PM on Monday, September 8. Additional visitation will be held one hour prior to service at the church. Interment will be in the Oakdale Cemetery, Wilton, IA.
