Herman B. Best
COLUMBUS JUNCTION-Herman B. Best, 76, of Morning Sun, and formerly of Columbus Junction, died Monday, Oct. 9, 2006, at Great River Medical Center in West Burlington.
Graveside services will be held at 9 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 14, at Columbus City Cemetery with full military rites by the Allen Wright Hanft American Legion Post 100. The Rev. Cathy Whitlatch of Columbus Junction United Methodist Church will officiate. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday, at the Stacy-Lewis Home for Funeral and Cremation Services in Columbus Junction. There is no memorial.
Mr. Best was born June 23, 1930, in Columbus Junction to Benjamin and Alice (Sheridan) Best.
