Herman 'Dale' Steele

      Herman 'Dale' Steele, age 75 of Fairfield, passed away Thursday, October 9, 2008 at Mercy Hospital in Cedar Rapids, IA.

      Respects may be paid to the family Sunday, October 12, 2008 at Behner Funeral Home in Fairfield from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM.

      Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM, Monday, October 13, 2008 at the funeral home with Rev. Mike Metz officiating. Interment will follow in Glasgow Cemetery.

      Herman 'Dale' Steele was born May 2, 1933 to Rex and Lydia (Zeigler) Steele. He was a United States Army veteran of the Korean Conflict. Dale was united in marriage with Margaret Leazer in Glasgow, IA on September 5, 1956.
