Herman Joseph Kruse
Herman Joseph Kruse, 87, of rural Donnellson, died Thursday, Sept. 7, at Mercy Hospital in Iowa City.Friends may call after noon Sunday, Sept. 10, at the Schmitz-Lynk Funeral Home in West Point. A Knights of Columbus rosary will be recited at 3 p.m. and wake service at 7 p.m. The family will meet with friends from 6-8 p.m. A memorial mass will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday, Sept. 11, at St. Mary's Catholic Church in West Point with Fr. Apo T. Mpanda as celebrant. Burial with full military rights by the West Point American Legion will be at Calvary Cemetery in West Point. Memorials may be made to the Holy Trinity Schools.
