Herman Wayne Martin
LONE TREE - Herman Wayne Martin, 79, of Muscatine, formerly of Lone Tree, died Thursday, Dec. 29, 2005, at Unity Hospital in Muscatine, following a lengthy illness.
Funeral services were this afternoon. Burial with military rites accorded by Lone Tree American Legion Post 457was in Lone Tree Cemetery. A memorial has been established for Lone Tree Fire and Rescue.
Mr. Martin was born Jan. 9, 1926, in Mt. Moriah, Mo., to John and Merle (Schweffler) Martin. He married Elaine I. Hahn on March 15, 1946, in Iowa City.
