Hilda Fisher
KALONA - Hilda Fisher, 80, of Kalona, died Thursday, Aug. 23, 2001, at Mercy Hospital in Iowa City, following a brief illness.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 26, at East Union Mennonite Church in rural Kalona, with the Rev Jay Miller and the Rev. Noah Helmuth officiating. Burial will be in East Union Cemetery. Visitation begins at 9 a.m Saturday at Yoder-Powell Funeral Home in Kalona, where the family will receive friends from 2 to 4 p.m. and from 6 to 8 p.m. A memorial fund has been established for Pleasantview Home.
