Hilda M. Burkholder Hershberger

      KALONA-Hilda M. Burkholder Hershberger, 82, of Kalona, died Sunday, June 13, 2004, at Pleasantview Home in Kalona, following a lengthy illness.

      Celebration of Life services will be held on Wednesday, June 16, at 10 a.m., at Kalona Christian Fellowship Church in Kalona, with the Rev. Richard Grimm and the Rev. Larry Rediger officiating. Burial will be in East Union Cemetery in Kalona. Visitation will begin at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, at Peterseim Funeral Home in Kalona, with family present from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. A general memorial has been established.

      Mrs. Hershberger was born on May 1, 1922, in Lincoln, Neb., to William and Hattie (Miller) Hoylman. She married Clarence Burkholder on Sept. 23, 1942. She married Warren Hershberger on Sept. 26, 1992.
