Hiroko A. Law
Hiroko Akiyama Law, 76, of Des Moines and formerly of New London, died Wednesday, July 23, at her daughter's home in Des Moines.
Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday, July 28, at Elliott Chapel in New London. There will be no family visitation. Graveside funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Monday, July 28, in Burge Cemetery in New London, with the Rev. Brian Swafford officiating.
A memorial has been established.
She was born Oct. 24, 1931, in Yokohama, Japan, the daughter of Unosukai and Toku Akiyama. She married Clifford Law in Tokyo, Japan, on Nov. 9, 1951.
