Howard E. Stock
LONE TREE - Howard E. Stock, 88, of Lone Tree died Sunday, Aug. 7, 2005, at his home in Lone Tree, following a lengthy illness.
Funeral services were held this afternoon. Burial was in the Lone Tree Cemetery, with military rites accorded by Lone Tree American Legion John L. Mumm Post 457. Memorials have been established for Lone Tree Fire and Rescue, Iowa City Hospice, American Cancer Society or the American Diabetes Association.
Mr. Stock was born on March 4, 1917, in Lone Tree to William F. and Fredericka (Rossman) Stock. He married Jean Musser in Burlington on Oct. 6, 1940.
