Howard Edward Harris
BURLINGTON - Howard Edward Harris, 78, of Sperry, died Monday, May 19, 2008, in Great River Hospice House in West Burlington following declining health due to an accidental head injury three years ago and diabetes.
Funeral services were at 10 a.m. today in Lunning Chapel, Burlington, with the Rev. Betty Anna Bremmer officiating. Interment will be in Aspen Grove Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Great River Hospice House.
Mr. Harris was born Jan. 19, 1930, in Brighton, the son of Arthur and Leona (Campbell) Harris. He married Ellen Roberta Jones on Dec. 5, 1959, in Monmouth, Ill.
