Howard J. Scarlett

      Howard J. Scarlett, 43, of Keosauqua, died Thursday morning, Nov. 1, 2007, in the Van Buren County Hospital emergency room in Keosauqua.

      A graveside service is scheduled for 2 p.m. Saturday in Thompson Cemetery in rural Bonaparte, with David Alexander officiating.

      Family visitation will begin at 12:30 p.m. Saturday at Pedrick Funeral Home in Keosauqua. The gathering will proceed to the cemetery at 1:30 p.m.

      Memorials may be made to the family and left at the funeral home or mailed to the family at 211 Chestnut St., Keosauqua 52565.

      Mr. Scarlett was born June 24, 1964, in Keosauqua, the son of Harry and Jennie Lee Scarlett.
