Howard Mitchell March 14, 1918 - September 13, 2003
Howard Mitchell, 85, of Kahoka, Mo., died at 12:22 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 13, 2003, at Keokuk Area Hospital.
The funeral service was on Sunday, Sept. 14 at Wilson Funeral Home in Kahoka, with the Rev. Clayton Peak officiating. Burial was in Chambersburg Cemetery. A memorial was established.
Survivors include his longtime companion, Mary Martin of Kahoka; a son, Tom Mitchell of Burlington; three daughters, Mary Bayne of Roseville, Ill., Karen Hobbs of Kahoka and Linda Johnson of New London; and 15 grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers and three sisters.
