DAVENPORT ? Hubert ?Hugh? Reed, 79, of Davenport, died Tuesday, July 28, 2009, in Clarissa C. Cook Hospice House in Bettendorf.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Friday, July 31, at Assumption Greek Orthodox Church in East Moline, Ill. Burial will be in Rock Island National Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday at the Runge Mortuary in Davenport with a prayer service at 6:30 p.m. Memorials may be made to Assumption Greek Orthodox Church or Clarissa C. Cook Hospice House.
Mr. Reed was born Jan. 21, 1930, in Keota, the son of Walter and Margaret (Hammes) Reed.
