Hugh Henry Breuer

      Hugh Henry Breuer, 81, of Salem, died Sunday, Nov. 11, 2007, at Henry County Health Center in Mount Pleasant.

      A service will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Salem Congregational Church, with the Rev. Harold Dorsey officiating. Burial will be at 2:30 p.m. Thursday in Burlington Memorial Cemetery in Burlington.

      Visitation will begin at noon Wednesday at Elliott Chapel in New London, where family will be present from 5-7 p.m.

      Memorials may be made to Salem Congregational Church or Hope Baptist Church in Winterhaven, Fla.

      Mr. Breuer was born Aug. 31, 1926, in Franklin Township, the son of Edward and Minnie Taeger Breuer. He married Phyllis Balzer June 26, 1949, at Latty Church Settlement, north of Burlington.
