Ida M. Grout
KALONA - Ida M. Grout, 87, of Kalona died Tuesday, July 18 in Mercy Hospital, Iowa City.
Mrs. Grout was born Oct. 25, 1918 near Sharon Center, the daughter of Fred and Mabel Weeber Meer.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, July 22 in the Sharon Center United Methodist Church with the Rev. Doug Cue and the Rev. Damien Grout officiating. Burial will be in the South Sharon Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2 to 8 p.m. Friday in the Yoder-Powell Funeral Home in Kalona where the family will greet friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m.
Memorials may be made to the Sharon Center United Methodist Church and the Pleasantview Home.
