Inez E. Short
IOWA CITY - Inez E. Short, 81, of Iowa City, died Wednesday, Oct. 18, 2006 in the Lone Tree Health Care Center in Lone Tree following an extended illness
Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 21 in the Holy Sepulchre Cemetery Chapel in Omaha, Neb. Burial will be in the Holy Sepulchre Catholic Cemetery. There will be no visitation. A general memorial fund has been established at Sorden-Lewis Home for Funeral and Cremation Services of Lone Tree.
Mrs. Short was born Jan. 25, 1925 in Burlington Junction, Mo., the daughter of Leo Hamilton and Anna Gladys (Walton) Trueblood. She married Richard Frank Short on Dec. 28, 1951 in Omaha, Neb.
