Inez Louise Smith Dowd, 87, of Fairfield, died at 7:45 a.m. on Friday, May 24, 2002, at the Nelson Nursing Home in Fairfield.
Her body will be cremated and no services are planned at this time. Burial will be in the Maple Hill Cemetery in Birmingham at a later date. Memorials and cards may be made to the Birmingham Public Library and sent care of Mary Ann Cook, 404 South 4th Street #110, Fairfield, Iowa 52556.
